Christmas Camp 2011

Held between Fri 16th and Sun 18th Dec 2011 at Xghajra Scout HQ (Delle Grazie Battery). The theme for camp was 'The Arts' and kicked off on Saturday morning with a session of Martial Arts (Judo) in Pembroke. We then went to Valletta where we had lunch and met up with a professional signer at Dar L-Ewropa. Cubs had the chance to learn about music in general and not just about singing - something the Cubs could use for their stunts. Off to St James where the Cubs had a 3hr session on team building merged with artistic challenges such as building a spaghetti tower and a bit of acting too. A crafts sessions was also held on Sunday and camp was topped by some fun water rockets games and End of Year Awards which this year also included the announcement of the new Akela (Michael) and of our New Cub Mowgli (Michele) :)
