President's Fun Run 2011 - Sunday 4th Dec 2011

For the 2nd time, the Sliema Cubs actively participated in the President's Fun Run along with parents, sisters, leaders and some other 11,000 people. We met at 9.30am at Santa Venera and walked through Hamrun & Floriana, ending up at the Palace in Valletta. Along the way we sang some of our traditional songs to liven up the streets just a bit more :) This event went hand-in-hand with our theme for December: Helping Others: Putting others first this Christmas! Cubs had to collect the application fee themselves by carrying out a number of Good Deeds. The donation fee was added to the Community Chest Fund which helps those in need.
