Easter Camp 2011

This camp, the 1st Sliema Scout Group asked the Stella Maris Scout Group to hold a joint Easter camp. Leaders from all sections met numerous times to plan this camp which was packed with activities hitting all aspects of a balanced programme - Spiritual, physical, social, emotional, mental and creative. With the planning all set and ready, we loaded our trucks and headed off to make Verdala Castle Grounds our home for a week!! Our camp started on Sat 16th till Sat 23rd April 2011. The Troop advanced party (PLs & APLs) arrived on Sat 16th to prepare campsite whilst the rest of Scouts arrived on Sun 17th and left on Sat 23rd. The Cubs camp ran from Tues 19th till Thurs 21st whilst the Ventures started on the 19th and ended on 22nd April. All members and leaders had an enjoyable camp and we will surely remember all the great activities we had! Over and above all this, we treasure our new friendship with our fellow brothers in Scouts!
